The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission recently awarded three contracts for projects in Northwest Missouri.
The first project on the list is U.S. Highway 71 from north of Route A in Nodaway County to north of U.S. Highway 59 in Andrew County. Mo-Dot will be micro-surfacing existing asphalt lanes. The second project is Interstate 29 from Route 111 in Atchison County to Route W, near Corning. Mo-Dot will be resurfacing and repairing the existing lanes. Lastly, U.S. Highway 36 eastbound lanes are to be resurfaced from east of Route A-C, near St. Joseph, to east of Route 31. All three projects are scheduled for the 2013 construction season, and motorists should expect lane closures and delays during construction.
