News Brief

Dec. 3, 2012MARYVILLE, MO |  By: Massey

A Northwest Missouri State student hunts for pleasure and for those who need food.

21-year-old resident assistant Greg Jensen has been hunting for 5 years. Jensen learned about donating part of his game to those in need, the first time he shot a deer. Jensen finds it gratifying and fun to give the meat to families who need it. Jensen gives meat to people at his Church who are unemployed and to Northwest students who don't have a lot of money for food. Jensen says he donates part of his meat because he isn't going to use all of it and there are people who need it.
