Holiday Campaign of Hope

The Midland Empire Chapter of the Red Cross in St. Joseph, has raised a large amount of money and sent many volunteers to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

While hearts and thoughts are still with the East Coast, The Midland Empire Chapter now wants to bring focus to local causes. The Holiday Campaign of Hope fund drive began on November 10th, and needs to raise one hundred and eighty five thousand dollars during the Holiday. Executive Director of the Midland Empire Chapter, Kevin Kirby, says so many of the donations have been directed to Hurricane Sandy, there is a concern about their local fund drive and local families. Kirby stresses the importance of helping local families.
