The Missouri State Highway Patrol would like to remind drivers to drive with caution in severe weather.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Captain Tim Hull recommends motorists stay off the roads in severe weather.

Hull says to make sure your car is winter weather ready. Getting your car inspected before setting out on holiday travels is always something to consider for long drives. He also advises you keep a blanket, flashlight, a cell phone charger and food in your car as a precaution.
