Amber Alerts

The way some people receive AMBER alerts will be changing soon.

Updates to the text message feature that some people receive when a child goes missing might be more frequent depending on travel. Director of the Patrols Public Information and Education Division Captain Tim Hull says the new procedure is more effective because the text message goes to the people in the area where the child was abducted.
