Two people were injured, one seriously in a one vehicle accident on Interstate 35, 5 miles north of Eagleville yesterday.

According to reports from the Missouri State Highway patrol, 23 year old Dustin Harms of Holt, Missouri suffered serious injuries while traveling south on the interstate. The pickup Harms was driving left the road. Harms overcorrected, hit a sign, entered the roadway and traveled off the other side of the road. The pickup overturned one and a half times, coming to rest on its top, facing the north bound lanes of the interstate. A passenger in the truck, 19 year old Alexis Davis suffered minor injuries in the accident. Both Davis and Harms were taken to Harrison County Community Hospital. Harms was later taken to Liberty Hospital. The patrol reports Davis was wearing a seatbelt. Harms was not wearing a seatbelt when the accident occurred.
