Water Building

The Maryville City Council approved a contract with Jeff Smith Contracting Company to construct a new Water-Sewer Maintenance building.

The deal comes after the city was unsatisfied with its previous selection and issued another request for project bids. Maryville Public Works Director C-E Goodall remains confident the city can afford the new building.

Goodall expects construction on the building to begin in March and finish by the end of summer. The Maryville Water-Sewer department has been without a maintenance building since a hail-storm in 2011.
