Seniors can make Christmas decorations at library

Seniors can make holiday decorations in two Classy Seniors programs coming up at Rolling Hills Library.

At 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Savannah Branch, 514 W. Main, seniors will make holiday candleholders. Advance registration is required for this program. At 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at the Belt Branch, 1904 N. Belt Hwy., seniors can make cards, tags, bags and ornaments with four craft experts, including Tonya Ball, Patti Swartz, Shirlene Zipp and Connie McGrath of the Hy-Vee Floral Department. Advance registration is required for this program also. The programs are free and open to the public. For more information, call the Belt Branch at 232-5479 and the Savannah Branch at 324-4569.
