Buchanan County Results

In Buchanan County Democrat Ron Hook won 55 percent of the vote in the Western District Commissioner race against Republican Paul Kovac.

The Buchanan Eastern District Commissioner race went to Republican Dan Hausman who received 60 percent of the vote over Democrat Tom Archdekin. Democrat Mike Strong took 53 percent of the vote in the race for Buchanan Sheriff against Republican Patrick Grove. And Democrat Scot VanMeter won 65 percent of the vote for Buchanan County Assessor over Republican Frank Still. Both the Buchanan County Sales Tax and the City of Saint Joseph sales taxes were voted down by 60 percent.
