Yarber visits Maryville

Democratic Sixth District U-S Congressional candidate Kyle Yarber campaigned in Maryville yesterday speaking to the Young Democrats Club on the Northwest Missouri State campus.

Yarber, a former teacher in the Plattsburg School District, currently resides in Gladstone and says he decided to run for the sixth district congressional seat because he feels many people in the northern Missouri district are not being represented.

Yarber says the economy and improving small business opportunities are issues he would address if elected. Yarber is challenging incumbant Republican Sam Graves of Tarkio in the November general election.
