Shenandoah Public Library Celebration

The Shenandoah Public Library in Shenandoah, Iowa is celebrating the recent remodeling and new addition this Saturday with an Open House.

Spokesperson for the event, Linda Henderson, says the addition includes parking and landscaping.

This weekend's activities include a ribbon cutting ceremony, a bounce castle, book drawings, music, and a "Characters Come to Life" activity where people can dress as their favorite storybook characters and have their pictures taken. Henderson encourages members of the community to visit the library and see the new additions and enjoy the activities.
