NW Fresh/Transfer Showcase

The Freshman/Transfer Showcase will be presented at the Mary Linn Auditorium tomorrow, Friday and Saturday.

"Wiley and the Hairy Man" is a series of southern folk tales and Appalachian influenced folk tales about a boy who has to confront a variety of fears in his adventures in the swamp where he lives. Only first year students at Northwest Missouri State University are the actors in the play which will allow the students to engage in creativity training, and experience what it's like to be in a showcase. Director and Associate Professor of Theater at Northwest, Amanda Petefish-Schrag, says this play was chosen to let the newcomers grow.
