Local stakeholders will have a chance to hear and voice concerns about the Missouri River.
The U-S Army Corps of Engineers for the Kansas City District offers stakeholders the opportunity to converse while boating on the district's Clem Meyer II. The Clem Meyer II will work its way downstream starting in Rulo, Nebraska and ending in Saint Louis. Stakeholders who participate will have the opportunity to view the river, features, structures and banks on the way to the next stop. The tour starts at noon on November 5th in Saint Joseph and at four on November 5th in Atchison. The tour will leave Atchison at eight the morning of November 6th and will arrive in Parkville, Missouri at 11. The Clem Meyer II will offer seats on a first come, first serve basis.
