Motorists who drive on U.S. Highway 169 in Gentry and Worth counties in northwest Missouri should notice a smoother, quiter, and safer drive.
The 17 mile- three point eight million dollar project that started in July and is scheduled be completed by mid-October. Both lanes and shoulders of US Highway 169 from route O to US 46 were overlayed. from US 136 to route O on US 169 were repaved and a four foot wide aggregate shoulder was added. The two north bridges along US 169 were overlayed and the northmost bridge has had it's expansion joints repaired.
