Goodall says a leak in the Sierra Steel

The Maryville City Council voted to repeal a contract award at last night's meeting.

Sierra Steel Buildings won the bid to construct a new sewer maintenance building earlier this year. Maryville Public Works Director C-E Goodall says the company appeared unable to complete the project at the original quote.

Goodall says the city will issue another request for proposals. He expects a new building to be completed next spring. After main destroyed a portion of Highway 136 last spring.
