Diuguid speaks on NW Campus

An editorial board member and columnist for the Kansas City Star spoke on the Northwest Missouri State campus last night.

Lewis Diuguid was a featured speaker for Northwest's Ploghoft Diversity Lecture series. Diuguid has been with The Star since May, 1977 and has written a column for The Star since 1987 focusing on education, social justice and diversity issues. Duiguid says he likes to speak to college students on the changing demographics of the United States.

Duiguid says the educational system and media can do a better job focusing on the impact of diversity in our society.
