Clarinda Library receives grant

The Clarinda Lied Public Library received two grants that will benefit the Library's children's department.

The first grant comes from the Charles Hockenberry Foundation of Shenandoah, Iowa. Library Director Andrew Hoppmann says the grant will be used to help fund programs and materials.

Hoppmann says the second grant of $1,750 dollars comes from the Community Partnership for Protecting Children's Neighborhood Network. It will assist the the cost of the Clarinda Library's annual Fall Festival which will be held Saturday, October 27th.
