A Member of Northwest Missouri State University's Police Department has been appointed to the Higher Education Subcommittee of the Missouri Homeland Security Advisory Council.

Lieutenant and Emergency Management Coordinator for the university, Mike Ceperley says it is an honor.

Ceperley says the committee is a voice to Missouri Homeland Security for Higher Education and fills the gap between K-12 and society.
