Career Day

The number of businesses hiring graduating college students in the area appears to be increasing.

The number of employers attending Career Day at Northwest Missouri State University yesterday set a new record. Director of Career Services, Joan Schneider says in 2001, 107 employers attended Northwest's Career Day. This year, 117 employers were looking to hire.

Schneider says Career Day is a great opportunity for Northwest students to develop relationships with employers. She adds it's also a chance for Northwest to let employers know what the students have to offer.
