Two Maryville high school band students have been selected to perform at a big event in January.

Juniors Loren Puche and Braxton Salcedo will perform at the B-C-S National Championship game in Florida.

The two students were selected to be a part of the All-Star Invitational Marching Band that will play at the Final Division one football game of the season. Puche and Salcedo will join students from across the country to perform in the Pregame and halftime festivities. The students auditioned for the event in august and received news last week that they had been selected. Puche and Salcedo play drums for Maryville's Marching Band. Maryville high school band director Burke Shouse says that he first heard of the Event through an email promoting a once-and-a-lifetime experience for students.
