Wellness Center Meditation

Northwest Missouri State invites community members to a weekly meditation time.

The University Wellness center hosts the meditation on the 3rd floor of the student union in Maryville every Tuesday from noon to 1. The first 15 minutes are spent familiarizing new participants with a brief overview of meditation. Counselor at Northwest Personal Development and Counseling Michael Mattock who is leading the sessions says the practice can be beneficial to a person's well being.
