Red Cross Recovery

Volunteers from the Midland Empire Chapter of the Red Cross continue with their aid efforts for those affected by Hurricane Issac.

14 volunteers each made a 14 day commitment. Many of the volunteers have been working to distribute supplies and food in the aftermath of the storm. Emergency Services Director Karla Long says the organization will soon start focusing on getting residents out of shelters and back to their own homes.
