NW Medical Grant

Northwest Medical Center in Albany was chosen to receive a $25,000 grant to support its broadband high-speed internet services.

The grant was awarded by Missouri Broadband Now, a public-private initiative established by Governor Nixon in 2009 to expand and enhance broadband accessibility and adoption in Missouri. The money will be used to increase broadband speed to its clinics and to support disaster preparedness and emergency management for the area. Northwest Medical Center Senior Marketing Manager Trisha Kellogg says the grant will help the center in a way patients will be able to notice and benefit from.
