Howitzer Live-Fire Exercise

The Missouri National Guardsmen will be presenting a live-fire exercise at Fort Riley, Kansas this Saturday.

The 1-129th Field Artillery, the only Field Artillery unit in Missouri, headquartered in Maryville, will be firing lightweight howitzers to test their performance. Jennifer Archdekin, a spokesperson for the event, says the test-fire is not only for show, but also for technical purposes.
