Holt Accident

2 people are injured after a car accident 3 miles east of Mound City on Tuesday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 39-year-old David White of Craig, Missouri was driving a Cadillac on southbound Neptune road. Reports say White failed to stop at a stop-sign at the intersection with U.S. 59. and collided with a Dodge pick-up truck. White was taken by ambulance to Heartland Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries. The driver of the Dodge pick-up, 63 year-old Larry Rowlett of Maitland, Missouri suffered serious injuries. Rowlett was taken to Heartland Regional Medical Center by Lifenet. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says both drivers were not wearing a seatbelt.
