Fresh Start

The Second Harvest Community Food Bank in Saint Joseph has announced plans to change the name of its on-site pantry...Harvest House to the The Fresh Start Community Market.

C-E-O of Second Harvest, David Davenport says Fresh Start will be modeled after traditional grocery stores.

Davenport says Fresh Start will also offer 10-week Empowerment Program which will train individuals in retail best practices. The trainees will go through a 1-week internship with a local retail store. After completing the program, Fresh Start graduates will be employed in the retail industry.
