A Trenton man faces charges for a bank robbery in Jamesport after a store clerk helped police identify the suspect.
38 year old William Wade Hutchison was charged Wednesday with stealing $2,670 from the Home Exchange Bank on August 8. Authorities said Hutchison was wearing a motorcycle helmet with sunglasses and a trench coat when he robbed the bank. According to court documents, he displayed what appeared to be a handgun wrapped in a plastic sack and told the teller, "I want your cash box, big bills first." Authorities released surveillance photos of the heist, which eventually led to his arrest. A store worker in Trenton - who saw the surveillance photos - said she had seen a customer in the same attire the day before the robbery. The store employee and a bank employee helped identify Hutchison through a photo line-up.
