St. Joe Museum Civil War Trip

The St. Joseph Museum is offering area residents a chance to visit battlefields and other historic sites of the Civil War during a 3 day trip this October.

Stops on the tour include the Battle of Carthage State Historic Site, Wilson's Creek National Battlefield, dinner at the Dixie Stampede Dinner Theater in Branson and much more. Public relations officer for the St. Joseph Museum Kathy Reno says if you want to get a real sense of the Civil War, the best thing to do is to visit the battlefields, the museums and the national parks.

The tour begins on the morning of October 17th and will return on October 19th. Reservations must be made by October 1st. For more information, contact the St. Joseph Museum at 816-232-8471.
