Sales Tax Holiday

Today is is the start of Missouri's Back to School Sales Tax Holiday.

The sales tax holiday will last through Sunday. Purchases of $100 or less on clothing, $50 or less on school supplies and $3,500 on computers and computer accessories will be tax free. Maryville City Clerk Sheila Smail says it might not be much, but the savings adds up.

Missouri sales tax, city and county sales tax will be removed from qualifying purchases. Again, Missouri's back to school sales tax holiday starts today and last though Sunday.
