Narcotics & K9 Garage Sale

People in the community of Maryville have been busy donating items for a large local garage sale this weekend.

Proceeds from the sale will support the Nodaway County Sheriff Department's Narcotic and K9 program. Event Organizer for the K9 Garage Sale Debbie Easterly says the donations from the community have been overwhelming.

Many activities will be going on during the sale including a silent auction, chair massages, refreshments and a K9 duo will be visiting off and on during the weekend. Easterly says anyone wanting to volunteer their time or donate items can stop by Movie Magic. Donations will be accepted until Wednesday at 1pm. The sale is Thursday and Friday from 9am to 7pm and on Saturday, from 9am to 1pm at Movie Magic on 216 West 3rd Street in Maryville.
