The Nodaway County Historical Society Museum has received a grant from the Missouri Humanities Council in support of the Cowboys, Cattlemen, and Farmers exhibit.

The exhibit will explore Nodaway County from the arrival of the railroad in 1870, up to the 1930s. Volunteer in charge of Programs and Displays for the Historical Society Museum, Cathy Palmer, says there will be different examples of livestock from the time on display.

Palmer adds the exhibit will also feature a panel of speakers, discussing life and occupations from the time period. The Cowboys, Cattlemen, and Farmers exhibit is on September 23. The panel discussion will begin at 2 pm, with the livestock exhibit following in the parking lot. The owners of the animals will also be available to answer questions.
