Construction Junction

The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced work starting Monday in Atchison and Gentry Counties.

In Atchison County, work will begin on Route D for 2 days, then Route U and Route D for 1 day each. Following this will be work on an overlay on U-S Highway 136. In Gentry County on U-S Highway 169, bridge joint repairs will take place on the bridge over the middle fork of the Grand River approximately 2 miles South of Grant City. During the project, slated to take 2 months, traffic will be set up for a 1 lane roadway. All road work is weather permitting.
