Assistive Technology Seminar

The Midland Empire Resources for Independent Living, or MERIL, will be hosting a special seminar, called Assistive Technology Solutions in Minutes.

MERIL coordinator of accessibility services, Carla Rickabaugh says the seminar will be teaching the people in attendance how to make assistive equipment with every day items.

Rickabaugh, says the seminar will be great for anyone, whether they are working with someone who has a disability, or they have a disability and want a cheaper way to get assistance. The class will include the materials needed and lunch and snacks will also be included. Assistive Technology: Solution in Minutes will be held on September 13, from 9 am to 3:300 pm at the Fulkerson Conference Center on the campus of Missouri Western State University, 4525 Downs Dr., St Joseph, MO.
