Andrew County Bike Accident

An overnight collision with a coyote sends a motorcyclist to the hospital.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol 43 year old Randall Carver of Country Club Village was heading southbound on I-29, 3 miles north of St. Joseph shortly after midnight this morning. Carver struck a coyote in the roadway and lost control of his motorcycle, ejecting Carver onto the road while the bike flipped several times. Carver was taken by Andrew County Ambulance to Heartland Hospital in St. Joseph sustaining moderate injuries.
