Taylor County Fair

Today kicks off the County Fair in Bedford, Iowa.

The festivities begin at 8 am today, with activities including a horse show, a rodeo and tractor rides. County Fair President, Jim Rowe, says a record number of animal owners are bearing the heat this year to showcase their animals.

Rowe says tonight, fair goers can enjoy a barbeque at 5:30, followed by the Queen Contest at the Grandstand The fair ends Sunday with a Cowboy Church Service followed by the Demolition Derby at 6:30 pm.
