Strong Families

The University of Missouri Extension office in Chilicothe is hosting 'Building Strong Families' a seminar focusing on building strengths to make a family stronger.

The class is every Monday from 1PM to 3PM starting July 16th and will cover a different topic relating to family strengths every week. The topics for discussion are 'Family Strengths', Communication, Managing Stress, Positive Discipline, Money Matters and Kids and Self-Esteem. Human Development Specialist Jessica Trussel says that this class is very beneficial because it gives families an opportunity to focus on what they are doing right.

Trussel says that each of the classes are equally important, but all are built upon the 'Family Strengths' discussion. The class is free, but registration is required.
