Sober Driving Checks

The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued 60 warnings during two sobriety checkpoints earlier this month.

Troop H commanding officer, Captain Duane Robinson reports during a checkpoint in Clinton County, July 6th, one ticket was issued for driving while intoxicated. Officers reported one seat belt violation, one uninsured motorist and one misdemeanor warrant arrest. One driver was cited for speeding and 33 drivers received warnings. A second checkpoint on July 7th in Atchison County resulted in one driving while intoxicated arrest, one seat belt violation, one misdemeanor warrant arrest and one minor in possession. 27 warnings were issued in Atchison County.
