McPherson says the fair begins today at 6 pm with the livestock show at the Maryville Community Building. The carnival begins Thursday afternoon at 5 on the courthouse lawn. The fair this year will include many different rides, and vendors selling food and crafts. Live music begins Thursday at 7:15 on the main stage at the courthouse square. The fair runs through Saturday.
