Missouri Highway Patrol on call for 4th of July

The Fourth of July holiday is one of the deadliest of the year on Missouri's Interstates and Highway's.

Missouri Highway Patrol spokesperson Sergeant Sheldon Lyon from the Troop H Headquarters in St. Joseph says troopers will be out in full force today and tomorrow for a number of different reasons.

With the Fourth of July coming in the middle of the week this year, Lyon says he anticipates more traffic than normal for the upcoming weekend as well.
