A weekend Microburst does substantial damage to a northwest Missouri seed company.
On Saturday a microbust produced winds strong enough to damage facilities at King City Seed company in King City, Missouri. A microburst is a small, intense downdraft that descends to the ground for 5 to 15 minutes producing damaging winds gusting upward of 100 miles per hour. King City Seed Company Agronomist Jennifer Hast says the north building took the brunt of the microburst.
