T.R.I.M. Grant

The city of St. Joseph will be presented with a check from the Missouri Department of Conservation at tonight's city council meeting.

The city is receiving the Tree Resource Improvement and Maintenance grant. Senior Property Maintenance Inspector for the city of St. Joseph, Walter Hughes, says the grant will be reimbursing some recent changes that were made.

Any city in Missouri has the opportunity to apply for a T.R.I.M. grant. The grant can be for one thousand to ten thousand dollars and projects must be approved by the Missouri Department of Conservation.
