Parking Problems

Police in Chillicothe are starting to crack down on parking violators.

Captain Tony Kirkendoll says they get citizen complaints every day- mainly from two issues. The first is vehicles parked between the road and the sidewalks. The other is camper, boat, and pull-behind trailers parked on the road. Kirkendoll says residents will notice more patrols by the police, adding it really comes down to a public welfare issue.

Kirkendoll says besides blocking the roads, unauthorized parking can also create blind spots for other traffic, creating even more hazards.
