Missouri River Funding

The President of the Missouri Farm Bureau says his group is pleased with the efforts of Missouri lawmakers to protect residents from Missouri River flooding.

A package has just passed out of the house that will increase flood assistance 3 million dollars. Another Missouri House member also attached an amendment that will withhold some funding for environmental projects. Tarkio area farmer and president of the Missouri Farm Bureau Blake Hurst says the legislation is moving in the right direction.
