Farm Bill

Missouri's Congressional delegation continues to wait for upcoming debate on America's farm policy.

The current bill took 3 weeks to pass the last time. The Senate has scheduled a handful of days in the coming weeks to debate the Farm Bill. Missouri Republican Senator Roy Blunt says a leaner Farm Bill this year may be added to if proposed amendments to cut crop insurance area added.

Missouri Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill is also reviewing possible amendments to the Farm Bill as it comes up for floor debate.
