Business Seminar

The University of Missouri Extension is offering future business owners tips to help them get started.

The "Starting a Business: the First Steps" seminar will help entrepreneurs understand taxes, licenses, financing and marketing for business. Business Development Specialist, Tom Kelso is the seminar instructor. He'll review the basics involved in starting a business. He'll also explain the importance of planning and discuss the legal and regulatory requirements... identify funding sources... and steps to market your product or service. The seminar will be tomorrow at the Buchanan County Extension Office at 4125 Mitchell Avenue in St. Joseph. Pre-registration is required by calling 660-446-3724.
