Women Build Week

Habitat for Humanity in St. Joseph and Lowe's are teaming up for National Women Build Week.

National Women Build Week is a nation wide initiative of Habitat for Humanity's Women Build Program. The purpose of the program is to recruit new female members for Habitat for Humanity, and train them in order to continue creating affordable housing. Volunteer coordinator Rita Boyer says teaming up with Lowe's is extremely beneficial in getting supplies and funding. Boyer says the support they have gotten and the passion the women have for the effort is overwhelming.
