Thomson on Lease Bill

A bill benefitting higher education institutions, including Northwest Missouri State University, was passed in the Missouri General Assembly session last week.

Chairman of the House Higher Education Committee, 4th District Representative Mike Thomson of Maryville, says the bill allows universities to enter into lease agreements without getting approval from the General Assembly.
