Senate Scuffle

The senator from St. Joseph recently got into a verbal scuffle in floor debates.

It was between Republican Senator Rob Schaaf's and Republican Jack Goodman. Schaaf was debating a possible constitutional amendment that would modify the nonpartisan commission which nominates state judges.

Democratic Senator Joseph Keaveny of St. Louis City then jabbed back with some words of his own.

After nearly 5 hours of debate, the senate approved the resolution.
