Safety Town

The Saint Joseph Safety Council is hosting Safety Town this summer, sessions where adults and teens teach children important safety information and tips.

Safety Town has been teaching children for 35 years and started, gun safety, stranger danger and more. Since then it has expanded into such topics as internet safety, gun safety, stranger danger and more. The teens are volunteers showing leadership and communication skills allowing them to teach the children and speak to their parents about these same topics. Executive Director of the Saint Joseph Safety Council Jackie Spainhower says Safety Town offers a wide range of activities that are fun and informative.
