The Missouri Department of Transportation is closing part of Interstate 29 in Buchanan County sporadically the next few weeks for repairs.

Contractors are beginning concrete repairs today on I-29 between mile markers 30 and 38 near Faucett in advance of an asphalt overlay project. Mo-Dot will work on that stretch through this Thursday. Southbound work is scheduled to conclude on Monday, June 14th. Mo-Dot will then being work on the northbound lanes beginning at 7pm June 5th through Thursday, June 7th. Northbound work is expected to be completed by Monday, June 11th. The same section of I-29 will receive an asphalt overlay following the Fourth of July holiday.
